CCNA Routing & Switching (200-125) is the latest exam track introduced by Cisco in 2016 to get the CCNA career certificate for routing and switching. Earlier it was 200-125 and named simply as CCNA and it was the prerequisites for the next level certifications. Now, According to the current structure CCENT (Cisco Certified Entry Network Technician) is the prerequisite for the next level exams.
To obtain CCNA R&S, you can choose either ICND 1 100-105 (CCENT) + ICND 2 200-105 (CCNA) or a single exam called 200-125 CCNA R&S. If you are a beginner it is good to go with the ICND 1 & 2 path way because the content for a one exam is a half of the CCNA R&S 200-125 exam. Cost wise also it is better. CCNA R&S 200-125 has designed for those who are having a background or to renew the CCNA exam. But it is having one exam.
